Strict ratios listed below will be enforced during all camp activities including recreational swim and swim lessons. All classification of swimmers and non-swimmers will be done by the Aquatics Staff under the guidance of American Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors.
ON-SITE SWIM RATIOS

NON SWIMMERS
1:3 one staff member will be assigned to three campers
SWIMMERS
1:6 one staff member will be assigned to 6 campers
CAMP RECREATIONAL SWIM
1:3 one staff member will be assigned to three campers
*During recreational swim, any classified non-swimmer that is in shallow water greater than chest deep must wear a life jacket. 1:3 ratios will still be met.
SWIMMERS
1:6 one staff member will be assigned to 6 campers 5 years and younger (Sports Camp, Group 1)
1:8 one staff member will be assigned to eight campers 6 and up
OFF SITE SWIM RATIOS
NON SWIMMERS
1:3 one staff member will be assigned to three campers and must be in the water with them
SWIMMERS
1:8 one staff member will be assigned to 8 campers 6 years and older
1:6 one staff member will be assigned to six campers 5 years and younger
*Any seizure prone child will have buddy tag marked with a dot indicating they require 1:1 counselor/camper supervision.
